Young Christians, Jesus is Calling You!
|
We wanted to share a message here with our younger brothers and sisters in the
Lord. Remember God shows no favorites and everyone is a child in God's eyes,
so don't let your age fool you! God has a plan and a purpose for you, He loves you!
Look at the following people God called out and used when they were young!
|
Timothy: Timothy was a young man who served
with Paul, and was given responsibility to lead and
establish Churches and their leadership!
1 Timothy 4:6-16 (NLT) If you explain these things
to the brothers and sisters, Timothy, you will be a
worthy servant of Christ Jesus, one who is
nourished by the message of faith and the good
teaching you have followed. Do not waste time
arguing over godless ideas and old wives’ tales.
Instead, train yourself to be godly. “Physical
training is good, but training for godliness is much
better, promising benefits in this life and in the life
to come.” This is a trustworthy saying, and
everyone should accept it. This is why we work
hard and continue to struggle, for our hope is in
the living God, who is the Savior of all people and
particularly of all believers. Teach these things and
insist that everyone learn them. Don’t let anyone
think less of you because you are young. Be an
example to all believers in what you say, in the way
you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.
Until I get there, focus on reading the Scriptures to
the church, encouraging the believers, and
teaching them. Do not neglect the spiritual gift you
received through the prophecy spoken over you
when the elders of the church laid their hands on
you. Give your complete attention to these matters.
Throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone will
see your progress. Keep a close watch on how you
live and on your teaching. Stay true to what is right
for the sake of your own salvation and the
salvation of those who hear you.
Jeremiah: Jeremiah one of the Old Testament
prophets was a mighty man of God and served the
Lord well, he was called as a young man and didn't
feel he was ready or worthy to serve, but look at
what God said!
Jeremiah 1:4-10 (NLT) The Lord gave me this
message:
“I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s
womb. Before you were born I set you apart and
appointed you as my prophet to the nations.” “O
Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m
too young!” The Lord replied, “Don’t say, ‘I’m too
young,’ for you must go wherever I send you and
say whatever I tell you. And don’t be afraid of the
people, for I will be with you and will protect you. I,
the Lord, have spoken!” Then the Lord reached
out and touched my mouth and said, “Look, I have
put my words in your mouth! Today I appoint you
to stand up against nations and kingdoms. Some
you must uproot and tear down, destroy and
overthrow. Others you must build up and plant.”

Jesus: Jesus himself felt the call of God on His life
at the age of 12!
Luke 2:41-52 (NLT) Every year Jesus’ parents
went to Jerusalem for the Passover festival. When
Jesus was twelve years old, they attended the
festival as usual. After the celebration was over,
they started home to Nazareth, but Jesus stayed
behind in Jerusalem. His parents didn’t miss him at
first, because they assumed he was among the
other travelers. But when he didn’t show up that
evening, they started looking for him among their
relatives and friends. When they couldn’t find him,
they went back to Jerusalem to search for him
there. Three days later they finally discovered him
in the Temple, sitting among the religious teachers,
listening to them and asking questions. All who
heard him were amazed at his understanding and
his answers. His parents didn’t know what to think.
“Son,” his mother said to him, “why have you done
this to us? Your father and I have been frantic,
searching for you everywhere.” “But why did you
need to search?” he asked. “Didn’t you know that I
must be in my Father’s house?” But they didn’t
understand what he meant. Then he returned to
Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. And
his mother stored all these things in her heart.
Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor
with God and all the people.
WHO CARES?!?!
No one cares about me!
Nobody understands me, or understands what I am going through!
They don't love me or care about me, if they loved me and I was important to them they would do something!
They should know, I shouldn't have to tell them, they should know how I feel!
Do you feel like that sometimes, maybe most of the time, do you feel isolated and alone in a crowd, or maybe like an outcast in your family? Do you feel depressed while others seem fine and happy? Have you got to the point where you think you might be better off dead, perhaps you think your family and friends would be better off without you.
Hear me and believe what I say, it is all a lie, not from you, but from someone who wants to steal the love you have, kill the hope you feel, and destroy the future you have in God! The bible says that the devil prowls around like a lion, trying to find those whom he can devour. The problem is that if we have Jesus in our life and the Holy Spirit in our heart, we are safe from his lies and schemes. So the devil seeks to find those who are young and isolated, those who have been lied to about God, and themselves. Unfortunately when we get fed a lie over and over and over we begin to believe it and many times own it. Many people don't believe in God simply because they don't think about it or Him, they don't take the time to search for the truth, was everything made by accident or with a purpose? Was all the vast intricate beauty of the universe and it's perfection a great big cosmic mistake, or was the creation made by a knowing and loving Creator? The truth is powerful and comforting, God made everything, including you and me, and everything He made serves a purpose. Look at nature the perfect way that everything balances out and comes into harmony until wicked and greedy men without God in their hearts step in and destroy it. God created us to care for His creation and to Love Him, He has a special purpose in mind for you and your life! Perhaps you have a gift and a call to teach or to lead, perhaps you can research cures for man made disease! Whatever God has created you to do it is important to Him and to us! If you want to pray, need a bible, or just have questions please call, email, or text us and we will do our best to be there for you. Your brother and sister, Ben and Nichole

Dreams and visions
What about dreams and visions?
If you have strange dreams and or visions, maybe
even hear a voice or voices it may be from the
spiritual realm of our world! God who is Spirit and
Supernatural (above and not limited by the natural
world) created both what we see and do not see!
We interact with many things daily that we can't
see but believe in (gravity, air, heat, cold). But
beyond the natural realm of what we normally
interact with there is something above that and
part of that is what God uses to interact with us
and to lead us and to guide us, to pour into our
lives in special and unique ways.
What we need to do is plug into God's Holy Spirit
so that we only hear from God, and allow Jesus
work on the cross to cleanse us from our sins,
mistakes, anger, and fears. Then we can hear
from God in such a way as to change our lives and
the lives around us! If you need more of Jesus in
your life, pray and ask Him for the help you need.
Give your life to Christ

The bible teaches us that greed is dangerous (the love of money is the root of all evil),
but the world tries to teach us that selfishness and desire for wealth and power are not
about greed but a way to take care of yourself. This is a lie! If we are unable to give and
to share we are unable to love and receive love, we are unable to touch God's heart
because money and things have taken God's place in our heart! There is only room in
our lives for one God and we must not let anything take Jesus spot as Lord, or He will
not be our savior, make room in your heart and life for Jesus and keep your priorities
pure!
